What is a Product Scan?
One complete DropScope research session for one product. It brings together product understanding, direct, similar and adjacent discovery, organic outlier scoring and ranked results.
Do I use another scan when reopening old results?
No. Reopening a research project, viewing its existing results and browsing already-collected content do not consume another Product Scan.
Does opening TikTok or Instagram use a scan?
No. Opening an original TikTok or Instagram post does not use a Product Scan.
Do saved posts use Product Scans?
No. Saving a result or viewing your saved inspiration does not use a Product Scan. Saved Inspiration has a separate post limit for each plan.
Do unused scans roll over?
No. Included scans refresh each monthly allowance cycle and unused scans do not roll over. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
Does annual billing give all scans upfront?
No. Annual subscribers receive their monthly allowance each month: 8 scans on Starter, 25 on Growth or 60 on Pro. The annual price is billed once per year.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. Create an account to get 3 Product Scans over 7 days. The trial starts with your first accepted scan. We don't collect payment details or charge you automatically. Choose a paid plan yourself when you're ready to continue.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
You can still view your past research. To start new Product Scans, choose a paid plan. The trial includes 3 Product Scans total across the 7 days.
Do you store full copies of TikTok or Instagram videos?
No. DropScope stores research information and original-platform references, rather than permanent copies of TikTok or Instagram video files.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation stops future renewals. Checkout and subscription management are not available yet; these are the terms for the plans shown here.
